“Isolation is nothing new for an artist.  My way of dealing with the pandemic and the often dark news of the world was to retreat to my studio and create something full of light and color.  In this new world filled with restrictions and darkness, these paintings needed to be vibrant and without structure or rules.

 

In the end, this series of paintings represent that welcomed sense of celebration that comes when friends and loved ones gather.”
